Serger Techniques Class

Do you want to be able to make your own clothes? Or make money doing alterations? The first step is learning the fundamentals!

In our Serger Techniques Class you will learn how to use a serger machine and its capabilities. Sergers are different from sewing machines. A serger uses more threads and binds and cuts the fabric together to give it a finished edge.

Additionally, you will learn:

  • Pattern reading
  • Fabric selection

Participants will make a skirt to take home.

If you have your own machine, please bring it. It's beneficial to learn on a machine you will use regularly.

A machine will be provided for those who do not own one.

$40 class fee + $10 supply fee for a two hour class. Paid on day of class, cash or credit.
